JOHN L SHEA
Co-Owner, Senior Appraiser

Certified General Appraiser for 31yrs
After owning a music store in a small Michigan town with his wife, John pivoted into working as a contracted assessor in southwest Michigan in the mid-1980s. Moving to Holland, the transition into real estate appraising was a very natural one for John. He became licensed and worked with another appraisal firm from 1992 to 2018. He is now the senior appraiser and co-owner of Appraisal Group West Michigan. John enjoys sailing and long distance cycling. He even rides across the state of Michigan every year for his birthday. He has a wide variety of experience.


DEVIN J SHEA
Co-Owner, Appraiser
Manager of Operations

Devin is a Holland native. After spending 10 years in the American west, working in the cattle industry, he returned to Michigan. Devin and John Shea decided to break off and start their own appraisal firm in 2018. It has been a strong and enjoyable partnership throughout every new chapter. Devin is an accomplished woodworker in his spare time, using almost exclusively 18th century tools and techniques. Devin is also a City Council Member for the City of Holland. 



TOM E RICHMOND
Certified General Appraiser for 18yrs
Tom's journey as an appraiser began in 2003 at an appraisal firm working under John Shea after prior careers in land surveying, new home construction, and real estate sales. With John's help, Tom fast tracked through the appraising licensure levels, and by 2006 acquired the top level of Certified General Appraiser. Tom is also FHA certified. Tom's favorite pastimes are spending time with family, gardening, and sailing.


DEIDRE L BROWER
Co-Owner, State Licensed Appraiser
Deidre came to us as an administrative assistant and quickly proved to be indispensable. She started the process of obtaining her state license and made quick work of it! She is a fantastic appraiser and very fun to have around the office. Deidre graduated from St. Mary's College in 2016 with a bachelors degree. In her free time she enjoys line dancing and taking care of her three children.

TIFFANY SENABANDITH
Appraisal Manager
Tiffany has a strong background in administrative work and office management. Since joining our team in 2021, she has implemented new processes and organization to spruce up our customer satisfaction and keep us all on track. In her spare time she is a singer/songwriter and mother of three children.
